PILATES CLASS IN SWORDS.

PILATES FOR INTERMEDIATE LEVEL AS FOLLOWS:

  • Only corporate Pilates classes available at the moment. - Live on Zoom

  • All classes must be booked in advance.

  • Online Pilates classes will run for 45 minutes.

You will soon feel the effects of doing Pilates! Why? Because you will sit taller, look slimmer and feel better. 

The greatest benefit is core strength, for better alignment of the hip, knee and ankle joints, which aid balance and performance. This also improves mobility and flexibility which can decrease the risk of injury.

Pilates can reduce stress, help muscular imbalance and define your muscles. The classes are small and we focus on technique and breathing.  The movement started with Joseph Pilates in 1923 and remains one of the most effective and popular exercise systems in the world. 

Hints and tips for an enjoyable work out.

  • Pilates is suitable for all ages and levels.

  • Wear comfortable clothing to ensure you don't overheat and can stretch adequately.

  • Never take up any new exercise during pregnancy.

  • Drink plenty of water when exercising.

  • Tell your instructor if you have any concerns about aches or pains you might be experiencing.

  • Always consult your doctor before taking up a new exercise regime.
